A commitment to customers
Our more than 50 years of success reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver quality service at a fair price. But it's not enough that we do good work. People expect that. But we deliver something other plumbing companies seldom offer: service technicians of the highest character, clean trucks, uniforms, and booties and drop cloths that show our respect for the cleanliness of a customer's home.
Tucson Plumbing is the leading plumbing contractor in Southern Arizona, and we credit that achievement to a simple philosophy: We treat our customers, employees and suppliers as we ourselves would like to be treated.

How it all began
It was 1947. Jack Owens and his wife, June, moved from West Virginia, and settled in Tucson, Arizona. While working for a local plumber, Jack used his GI Bill benefits from his service in the Army Engineers to go to night school and earn a plumbing apprenticeship. After a few years working on plumbing installations in the Tucson area, Jack and June incorporated Tucson Plumbing in 1952. They built the first Tucson Plumbing building in 1959, and for nearly 30 years, Jack estimates his company installed the plumbing in 1 out of every 5 homes in the area.
In 1982, as they were nearing retirement, Jack and June Owens sold the company to a group of employees including their nephew, Chris McGinnis, who eventually bought out his two partners. Chris continues to guide the company today with the same attention to trust, good work, controlled growth and caring for the employees.
